On behalf of PGA TOUR Champions and the Dominion Energy Charity Classic tournament staff, we thank you for your support of our event. The growth and success of this tournament would not be possible without the support of clients like you. Your support has been a key factor in the tournament being voted the players’ favorite of the season three times in its short history! 

Your involvement also enables us to continue to support local charities and give back to the RVA community. The main charitable beneficiaries of the Dominion Energy Charity Classic are the Virginia Veterans Services Foundation, the Richmond Fisher House and the McGuire Research Institute. In addition, over 140 local charities typically participate each year in the Birdies for Charity program presented by TowneBank. Since the tournament’s inception in 2016, the event has helped generate more than $7.3 million for these charitable causes.

As the first tournament in the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs series, the top 72 players on PGA TOUR Champions will return to Richmond this October to compete to earn a spot in the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship. We look forward to welcoming them, as well as you and all of your guests, back to The Country Club of Virginia James River Course in October!
